Ever a collector of fabulous fabric, I became a designer, was trained in fashion design and came to realize how much I loved the raw material from which my creations were birthed. Textile pattern design has been my passion for several years and through courses and self study I have evolved into a surface pattern designer.

Capturing the fluidity and movement of live specimens drew me to work with watercolor. Watercolors and photography are my starting points ending in digital translation in creating pattern illustrations.

My happy place is the great outdoors. My fabric prints are inspired by what I find on the many hikes and trips I take throughout the world. I am drawn to the countryside, the simple elements, American history and the ordinary.
